Is true kindness unconditional?
I don't believe true kindness is connected to conditions. What I mean is true kindness can be conditional or unconditional. It is a different question as to whether kindness should be conditional or not. In some instances kindness is interpretted as weakness, so might invite abuse. At other times it might be interpretted as an invitation to take advantage, use the kind person to the farthest extent possible. True kindness is separate from the consequences. It is a good idea to be strategic with kindness in the world we live in. Kindness is necessary to change cruelty, but it must be used strategically or it would have no benefit.
