How can I get VERY cheap one way airfare? I don't care where to or when I travel.?

I'm looking for one of those amazing deals. Perhaps on an airline that is desperate to get SOME money rather than none for a seat on a plane. I don't care where I go, Europe, Australia, Asia, South America, Africa... I don't care when either, as long as I can arrange something less than a month out.
