Can middle ear drainage problems cause stomach problems?

I have had ear problems since I was 16, less as an adult. Only 2 infections in the past 8 years. Although they were more severe. I do commonly get head colds and pressure in the middle ears, shortly after I get upset stomach issues. I no longer get heartburn since I moved to Europe and my diet improved but I still get an upset stomach quite often. I haven't found a doctor willing to look in to the issues at all. The last one gave me heartburn medecine after I told him I haven't had heartburn in a year.
