Can quails and rabbits share a hutch?

I have a pair of average sized black male rabbits and I was thinking about getting 5 or so chinese painted quail which are really small! I live in an area with foxes so I have to lock my rabbits up at night so if I separate the rabbits and the quails at night could they share a run in the daytime? The run is about 1 metre by 2.5 metres.
