If my bearshare subscription expires, will i still be able to play my music in WMP?

Yea I recently got bearshare (it's awesome) and I just wanna know what will happen to my music once my free trial is done. I don't think I'll be able to play them in bearshare, but I looked at the music files in windows media player and they don't seem to have any sort of security or expiration dates. They just seem to be regular mp3s. Windows Media Player even lets me burn my subscription music to CD, something Bearshare won't let me do. So is it safe to ume that I don't really need bearshare to play my music after the subscription ends?
