Would you go back to this era/time and fight for a side if forced to ?

Jews were living in Palestine before jesus was born. They lived in harmony with the palestinians who in those days were known as Phillistines. Jews were granted land in palestine in 1920 under the Balfour treaty which was sanctioned by the Palestinians, Egypt, Syria, and Jordan. They were given the land known as the West bank, the Gaza strip and the land that is today modern Israel. Then after nthe end od WW2 there were thousands od displaced jews tered across Europe, mostly survivors of the Death camps. Yhese people had nothing, no home, no family. It was decided to send them (if they wishe to Israel for a home land. This was done and in 1948, the state of Israel was born.The founding of Israel was accepted by all the Palestinians more so because Israel embarked on a huge building programme which gave hundreds of jobs to Palestinians who wereliving on the bread line.Even until 2006, hundreds of palestinians were crossing the border into israel for work in all trades.However, due to the suicide bombers entering israel as workers, the border had to be closed. The bombers were the fanatical splinter groups who believed that Israel should not be in palestine. This escalated over a time and the warring increased when Hamas became elected by the Palestinians. This forced Israel to take action against Hamas which resulted in the invasion by The Israelis against palestine. Israel was fighting for its existance in the middle east. If Hamas was to win, then israel would be no ore and muslim Extremists would have a bigger footing in the Middle east and more of a threat to peace. When people talk about the civilian casualties in this war, they forget the civilian casualties that Israel has suffered for years by suicide bombers and rocket attacks.without any retaliation.
