Where can I find geneology records for the period 1200 to 1600 for the native irish not the normans?

i want the records of the Irish not the Invaders we have heard enough about the norman french and the vikings and the english I want to research the condition and descent of the irish natives and find this period blanked out church, annals and no trace of us at all! jd
