Conscious Sedation and Oral Surgery?

Hello, I'm going for my consultation for wisdom teeth removal next wednesday, I am quite nervous that I will die if I go under anesthesia.. I was curious is Oral Concious Sedation would be available for this procedure.. I really would prefer this rather than general anesthesia.. any professionals with advice..
