Why do i still like him even though he's a jerk!?!? HELP!!!!?

Kay so there's this guy...And he is a total player!!! But somehow i still like him. He's a total flirt with a lot of girls but then all of a sudden he stopped. Now he only flirts with me....and another girl. He likes me (yay) but he also likes another girl (boo). Now he said he's trying to decide which girl to ask out!!! He still hasn't chosen but that's so jerky and player-y. WHAT DO I DO?!?!?! I dream about him!!! I would be so happy with him but i'm scared!!!! I think he's gonna pick the other girl. PLus even if we do go out, we would only see each other for two more weeks and then not until NEXT SUMMER!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
