Just mailed form 1040x to drop my exemption, parents jsut mailed their tax return?

Okay so i self exempted myself or whatever so my parents wasnt able to claim me. I just mailed the form 1040x to fix it so i no longer have that personal exemption. At the same time my parents jsut mailed their tax return claiming me. Will they be getting their refund on time? Or does my 1040x have to be processed FIRST (i heard it could take up to 12 weeks) before they will be able to get their tax return
