How can i make more guy friends?

I'm going to jr high next year and i want to make lots of friends, girls and guys, but if i have a best friend, i want it to be a guy friend, because i've learned that girl best friends aren't dependable or trustworthy...or at least where I live. My best friends ditched me for no good reason, and I have been a lonely loser since fourth grade because everyone else was already paired up with a friend or group of friends. so anyways, i really want more guy friends because i want a friend who can accept me for who I am, and who is fun and laid back, instead of some girl who is always squealing about who likes who and shopping and how she loves the color pink or whatever. i've found that to have a friend that really knows you inside, you should have one who doesn't know anything about you on the outside. what i mean by that is, a guy doesn't know much about girls, which is all the more reason he will be a great friend. thanks!
