Yes, an equilateral triangle is THE regular triangle, but I guarantee you better grades and SAT scores if you remember the formula for the area of an equilateral triangle with side S is S² *√3/4. Don't need to use one-half* apothem* perimeter in this particular case. You should get the same answer no matter which formula you use, however.
